Food workers are the cornerstone of any food business. Whether they are working in food production, in the kitchen, or serving customers, food workers must ensure that people are provided with safe food for consumption. According to Food Safety Standard 3.2.2, food workers must take practical measures to ensure that their body, or anything from their body, does not come into contact with food and contaminate it. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is an efficient way to do this, and training must be provided on the proper way to use PPE.
